Those taillights confuse me. Normal Camaro taillights from that era already had amber turn signals. Why reverse them like that?

Interesting that it has French plates - in a German ad. Of course they didn't have the option of photoshopping the proper plate in for every country, but still - i would wager Germany was a bigger market for American cars back then, than France.

It was probably a single picture for a stock ad layout which was simply translated in several languages. I've seen a Dutch version for this ad in thirdgen.org.
Also, Germany still is Europe's biggest US car market, although France isn't far.

Did the amber have to be on the outer edge? The US-spec lights had the amber/red reversed from this photo...

I understand as much, my point is that i would have done the original stock photo with a German plate, seeing as that was the biggest market for these.
But it doesn't really matter, does it? Do carry on.
